Looking for a pickle recipe I saw couple years ago...

I used the search feature and am not finding it

Someone made pickles in 1/2 gallon jars that looked like this :

I bought the jars but didn't get around to making them at the time and then last year we remodeled our kitchen so we were lucky to get "regular" meals let alone making extra stuff.

I just remember the jars and how easy peasy the recipe seemed.

Do you remember what type of pickles? I have a really easy recipe for bread and butter pickles

that I got from someone here on BYC.

I just set my first batch of two week pickles using jars like that. You can find the recipe under my friend's blog at Wild Roots Farm at http://wildrootshomestead.blogspot.com/ and look under her April archives. It's toward the bottom.

Refridgerator pickles?

I have an awesome awesome recipe for them. Makes my mouth water just thinking of them.

They are made in a similar jar.

Took a huge jar of them to a potluck and had half a quart when we got home.
