Anyone have experiential knowledge as to what might be the cause of this poop from my hen. I went out to the coop to check on her after sunset, and she was standing on the floor of my coop. when I picked her up and placed her on the roost next to my roo, she was off balance and unable to settle. I then did what needed to be done and dispatched her(the only thing I hate more than killing an animal that isn't meant for the table, is seeing one suffer). I currently only now have 1 mature bird, a sweet sicilian buttercup roo. That said, I have nine 3 week old chicks, that will soon be joining the roo. Needless to say, I want to find out what's going on before adding the newbies to the flock. My plan for this weekend is to treat the sand in my coop with hydrated lime and washing down solid surfaces with a bleach solution. I'm pretty confident in my sanitation methods, but would still like to know what was wrong with my hen. I've been keeping birds for over 10 years, and this is a first. Please feel free to ask any questions in comments.

Could be...
Coccidia - cure - corid
worm- cure - Fenbendazol (Safe Guard for Cattle and Goats or other like Pumpkin Seed)
soft egg that never was crated fully... Possibly calcium deficiency, or impact, First egg of the mature or season?
just my top 3 wild guesses
