Durn! I am in California. Well, it seems there are always extra roos for rehoming, so going to the buy/sell section is probably your best bet. You might try putting up a notice at your local feed store and an ad in your weekly flyer paper. I bet you get inundated with choices! Sorry about your old guy.

There are a ton of roosters on the market since most people can't keep them. Really it's buyers delight. When you have 20 posts you could put up a Wanted to Buy ad, on the BYC buy-sell-trade forum.
