Looking For A Run I Can Add To My Coop/Run Area

I have a coop/run that is average size and fits about 8 chickens. The run part of it is not really big enough to leave the chickens in for any length of time. So, I am looking for a run that is around 4.5' to 5' high, and about 8-10' around. Well, in my search for one, I have found some really tall ones and some that are too short. I have to have one that will accommodate the door that is about 3' from the ground. Any help will be appreciated if anyone knows where I can get one in the size I am looking for. I already tried many places including Omlet and Tractor Supply. Thanks. I am looking to somehow extend the run I already have.

Why not just build a fence out of welded wire and metal fence posts at any height and to any dimension you want.
It can even be moveable. Pull a few fence posts and put them somewhere else.

Well, that's a great suggestion, but my husband and I are not builders We can buy something and hire someone to put it together. But builders, we are not. Wish we were sometimes though. It would come in handy.

usually there are companies that specialize in fence building. Call them up and ask for a quote.

How about a dog kennel? 10x10x6(?) is a standard size. I'd aim for taller than 4 or 5'... a run you can't walk into is a nightmare to deal with when cleaning, trying to catch a chicken, etc.

Everyone is a builder, some just don't know it yet... look at a Hoop Coop, a very simple way to extend your run.

We repurposed 4’ wooden snow fence. It’s held up with used green stakes (from horse fence), attached with zip ties. We have bird netting above. We did have one hen that would fly out on her own every day and had to clip her wings.
-there’s currently no snow, btw.

Chain link dog pens make good sturdy predator proof runs. Keep an eye on CL. I seem to find then in the $150 range. Stick with 6' height so it's easy to add to down he road.

Chain link fence does not slow down an opossum they go right through. Seen it with my own eyes.

True, but they are easily reinforced...Hog rings or J clips and welded wire. Anyone that can use a scissors or pliers can install that...The big advantage is the complete ease and time saving of the installation.
