Looking for a secret

I do the same as another replied:

Boil, run under cold water, refrigerate, peel under cold water.
You don't need to refrigerate but it helps.

Also, I peel mine at an angle with just my thumb. I glide my thumb over the surface and it allows the shells to come off in bigger sizes-makes it quicker too!!!
 
For our family Thanksgiving feast one of the dishes we provided was 'deviled eggs'. Using the method I found here my s-in-l and I peeled 2 dzn eggs in approx. 5 mins. What an advantage over my old method ... 3 mins each egg. I'm doing 4 eggs right now and after reading the previous thread, I'm going to drain the pan and bang the eggs around then fill with cold water. See what happens

Don't believe the "bang them around method" worked anybetter than the ice bath cool them fast method. I'll stick with the ice bath for now

or the old fashioned way (since 2 weeks ago).
