Looking for advice and guidance in hatching and raising Emus

So I weigh mine same time everyday and my first egg is at day 11 and has had some problems with weight loss but tonight it is just a few g from being the perfect 15%. My other 2 are on day 2 and are just in the 16% range so tape has been added in some problem spots and for one I added a small piece just to insure it doesn't loose past it's 15%.

If you like we can do a hatch along together all though I weigh everyday. We can still compare to the experience. What day are you on with your eggs are you useing a homemade Bator I am took a week to make but is amazing for a cooler. I used Bator temp and humidity readers and to bulbs with a fan.

How does one control the weight loss percentage? Is that done with managing the humidity?
No what I do is of it is to much and you see the little light spots on the egg take tape like doctor tape and make very small patches for them and weigh again same time next day if mot enough has been lost you remove a small piece or two depending on how much weight was not lost. If it is not enough you want to lower your humidity or check your temp and make sure it is the optimal/ emp.

Well right now I am pre planning before I receive my eggs next month. I want to have everything ready prior to their arrival just so I am not playing catch up or feel like i'm missing something and will put them at risk. But Im down for the next round!
