Looking for any hatchery's that have Black Copper Marans.

Looking to purchase some 1 day old Black Copper Marans pullets, any suggestions on good hatchery's.

Offhand, Cackle and Meyer both sell them, I think they are also done for this year. If you are really looking for "dark" eggs though, you are better off to go to a breeder that breeds specifically for egg color. http://www.maranschickenclubusa.com/ http://maransofamericaclub.com/ are links to two Marans show clubs.

Marans can't be accurately sexed as day old chicks.

And, it's definitely better to buy from a breeder vs hatchery, especially if you want dark egg layers or birds that are close to SOP

Most hatchery stock has been crossed at some point
