Looking for Araucana chicks...

Does anyone have any recommendations on obtaining Araucana chicks? I live in South Florida, and while there is no shortage of chickens down here, I have not found anyone raising or selling Araucanas. I currently have a small flock of Gold Lace Wyandottes, and would like to start raising Araucanas as well.

I would suggest locating and attending a few poultry shows in your area - this is great place to start identifying and networking with breeders who have the breeds you are hoping to obtain. Araucana are rare enough that locating a good source can take some time. You may also want to stop by the social area here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you and locate the thread(s) for your area so that you can network with other BYCers close to you who may be able to hook you up with some information on Araucana breeders around you.
