Looking for ayam cemani chicks in Leesburg VA

I am new to chicken hobby, would like to get the Ayam Cemani chicks, let me know if anyone help me with hatching eggs or chicks in Leesburg VA , Other breeds also welcome

If you're interested in black breeds, you can also look for a mystic onyx. Its a relatively new black crossbreed registered by Hoovers as an alternative for the ayam cemani. It's also a decent layer.

I have a mix of Raven and GFF that I purchased from a breeder here in NM who went to school with my husband. I have never shipped eggs, have you?

I haven’t yet I have been kind of selfish with my chicks and eggs. I am getting ready to incubate some here starting this weekend. I would think we would need to wait for temps to improve a bit yet before we shipped them. I live in South Dakota. But I have seen some tick told of eggs being prepared to be shipped. I have 6 hens so gathering eggs quickly isn’t an issue. They have been laying fairly steady

Right, well let’s not forget each other here. I have 6 layers; 3 adults that just came off/are coming off chicks, and three pullets.

I am willing to give it a go, I do believe my area is getting saturated with the same lines, so I really wouldn’t go anywhere except out of state at this point
