Looking for Bantam Cochins.....

Hi Everyone....

Looking for Bantam Cochin hatching eggs. Specifically Red, White, Buff, Self Blue, or Barred. I currently only have Black and would like to expand my colors.

Everywhere I look they have blue, black, self-blue bantam cochins but no other colors. Is it just demand or are the red, buff, barred, and white getting rare?

I do! I have a white hen and a black hen. My rooster is partridge. I have another black pullet and buff cockerel but they are still young and not breeding yet. I’m also have my black hen hatching 6 eggs right now

Cackle hatchery has a lot of the colors you are looking for, but in day old chicks. I've had very good experiences with them. In fact, I had chicks shipped yesterday and I should be able to pick them up this afternoon. However, a lot of that depends on your shipping routes.

Thanks for all the information Redhead Rae. I did find the Barred and Red ones on ebay. I have a hen that is about to go broody and she will be the lucky one to try and hatch them.

Ideal Hatchery sells all of the colors as chicks but not eggs. I believe they are available until the first few weeks of next month.
