hopeing to trade some eggs for these eggs , if you have any bantams that you think would be something to cross with this roo and be pretty let me know ....i will most definately be interested cause he needs some girls

Afraid I can't help you on the egg situation as i'm on the other side of the Atlantic! But I thought I'd stop by and make a suggestion.... I think he would go really well with pekins as he is a similar shape but his tail is way more beautiful... it would make some really cool babies. I was thinking maybe lavender pekins? Or some gold/partridge pekins... make some cute buff babies

Either way he is GORGEOUS and I hope you find some egglings to make him some girlies soon

Check out the egg selling section. I just bought a bunch for my bator for the next couple months.I could have helped you a few months ago but I found homes for over 50 chicks I hatched out. I could have sent you a bunch of eggs. The only bantams I have now are Onagadori and they aren't laying yet. They stopped for winter break.

hmmm im not sure how the crosses would look with cochins ( pekins) and i would love some lavander birds but then again im not going to be picky , i have some cochins now they hens are red , red frizzle, black , blue, birchen, and mottled

thanks well maybe your birds will pick back up and we can do something , never thought of ongadori , althought they do have some pretty tails

thanks for your suggestions and all........ im hopeing more will post their ideas as well

I have bantam eggs. Most of the girls are in the hen house and with only 1 rooster now a beautiful self-blue d'Uccle. The girls are Japanese, d'Uccle, Dark Cornish. No cochin now as both my girls are setting on eggs and no silkie now as my one girl just hatched her first baby. The eggs are not separated but I can make a good guess as to the hen breed by the shape and size. LMK if interested. If the snow that has covered the ground for over 2 months ever melts we'll make some breeding pens to keep the breeds separate.

I have cochin, oldenglish, rosecomb, welsummer, silkies, dutch barred rocks and mixes all running together these are all bantam
