The Agway in Greenfield ma. just got there chicks in Friday. I was there yesterday and they a few leftovers they were selling. I saw some Buffs and some SLW pullets along with some RIR. They close at 2:00 today but you may want to give them a call.
I resisted the urge to buy them all and bring them home with me!!!!

There is a guy that lives near us (your town) that is going to give away 5 or 6 hens if you are interested.
I have his # if you want. If they dont find a home they go in the freezer. He has 2 ameraucana 1 RIR and a barred rock that i know of off hand.

I think the original poster gets the point. I thought we were all about helping people here rather than ridiculing them and driving them away.

Wow. I think after one person mentioning that I had a typo it would be enough. Looks like we have some people with a little time on their hands. YES IT IS PULLETS, which I am actually aware of. I wrote this post after 48 hrs without sleep, cut me some slack.

Anyway, thank you to everyone that could look past a one letter mistake and was very helpful.

Side question: Do most Agways sell chicks from time to time?

The one in Greenfield takes orders 3 times. The one in the next town only does it one time. I think it depends on the demand. I suggest making some phone calls. You really should be able to find what you want if you call around.
