Hi all!
Finally... My parents are open to me getting a bunny.
I am in Gilbert, AZ, and would like to rescue or adopt a bunny. Any places you recommend?
I do not want to pay more than $75-100 for a bunny, but willing to pay more.
Not sure if this is the kind of place I can post this thread and get answers.. but worth a shot

Have you checked at the local animal shelters? Sometimes they have some.
Check The House Rabbit Society and see if they have a rescue near you.

Do you have everything ready yet? I suggest you have everything setup for your new bun.
If you need any advice please let me know, I'd love to help

I do not yet. My parent would like me to pick the place first before I get everything else.
A person on next door has a mini rex bunny for sale, and he comes with 4 level cage, outdoor cage, food, bowls, and toys, including him for $100. I messaged her, not sure if he's still available though :(

You should get everything prepared first. Its like having a baby. You wouldn't have the baby then get everything ready.

You'll need a wire dog playpen, lots of tinothy hay, a food and water bowl, lots of toys, some blankets, pellets, fresh veggies, nail trimmers, a comb, and bunny proofing supplies.
Rabbits need at least 4 hours of free roaming time a day.

Do I need to buy/build a rabbit hutch??

No. Hutches are way too small, are often outside, and have wire bottom which are very painful fro rabbits.
Instead just get a dog playpen. They're much cheaper and much better for your rabbit.
