I recently got a formerly abused (by her flock) hen that also has a cauterized top beak so she can't defend herself if she wanted to. I do feel that she is getting bored/lonely out there by herself even though I let her free range at least an hour a day and spend as much time as I can with her but it's not the same as another bird friend. I'm looking for any age hen that also has a cauterized beak so it's a fair advantage. I'm not looking to make chicken dinner or even eggs if they don't lay I just simply want a companion for my Beverly that I can watch and enjoy also , if you have or know someone that has what I'm looking for please contact me!
