Welcome! We are new to chickens but love them. We are getting plenty of eggs with eight standard sized pullets but we haven’t lived through the winter. I hoped I could do more with our new garden’s but the first year has nearly done us in. I’m planning each stage slowly toward more self sufficiency. You sound very prepared for your future!
