the first one is $550 plus S&H but does not have the removable bottom tray (older model than the one I was looking for) and much more expensive than the ones in the UK.

the second one is much nicer but also more expensive

anyone else know someone else importing these

I have had many lengthy conversations with Dan and he seems like a good man. We will have him out on our property in about 2 weeks (when we can pay the 2nd half of our coop cost) and I'll be shooting lots of photos of our coop. The nice thing about dealing with Dan is if this is the style you want but say you want it taller or longer, he can build just like that...

You pay a bit more now but in the long run you'll be glad you did. Those Chinese built coops look ok, but if you get rain, snow or a lot of wind and sun where you are the wood will warp and split. Get decent pine boards or plywood weather sealed right and you'll have a coop to last a long time...
