looking for egg donor

We have tried to hatch out our own eggs but come to find out the hens and Roo that my kids greatgrand father gave them to get us started are just toooooooooooo old to do the job

we have gotten our kids a small bator to get them goin and they are so excited about getting to see the chicks hatch but so far they have not had any luck

if there is anyone out there that can help out that would be wonderful and i know that God will bless you

well we were hoping to find Araucanas, dominicers or barred rocks
something that is going to be a dual purpose bird but nice to have in yard and good with kids
if anyone has anything like that or can suggest another good breed we are willing to try anything
