Thanks. I'm pretty excited!

We don't have weasels. I haven't found much a rat can't find a way through, but Our cat catches just about any warm furry or slithery creature that comes on the place, add the dog to the mix and I think the coons, skunks, and possums, are covered, though the roosts will be along solid walls for sure. I'm more worried about Owls at night and Hawks during the day, though we have been pretty fortunate so far, and I don't think Owls will get through the horse wire. The Hawks do come and drool, but they are pretty easily deterred.

Hubby is a General Superintendent for a major construction company. He has been on heavy equipment since he was in diapers (we have pictures), and is quite literally the best I have ever seen on dirt work. He has the place sculpted and dressed for optimal drainage, AND is constantly tweaking this or that. He worked on the pad for the coop over the weekend, and I'm sure before it gets here he will have done more. Dirt he will piddle with... things mechanical, or building not so much.

Or take and post pics as you go along with the build, from site prep to adding birds...and beyond.
Everyone loves a good coop build.
