Looking for feedback on a couple of articles

Proposed layout for my incubator articles are as follows:

Header GIF/schematic
-Design criteria
-Parts and cost list
-Photos and explanation of construction
-CAD views + simulation recordings
-Updated usage data and recommendations
-Other articles and information

I’m leaning on the side of making them fairly detailed as well. When I went to build an incubator my biggest gripe with the other articles was the lack of detail in regards to design choices and recommendations for things to change. I’d also like to go into more detail about electrical wiring but that requires me to upgrade my own knowledge base first. Unfortunately some of my builds are many years old and I have since gutted them for new incubators so my CAD reconstructions won’t be perfect.

This article (PTFE toxicosis in chickens) also needs substantial overhaul, but it might take longer because I’m fixating on my CAD models for the incubator article. Here I think it may be better to follow a simple Q&A format and minimize unnecessary supplementary information. My goal for this one is to improve search rankings on google so I’m going to have to make some choices on whether to use correct terminology or clickable terminology.

I never thought I'd wind up doing this "experiment" much less an article until I researched sterilizing eggs from Marek's and found absolutely nothing. Thus, the idea was born!

It’s not something I have seen discussion on either, so I found it quite interesting. If I understand correctly, those were shipped eggs - I would like to see some bigger sets on non-shipped eggs with a precedent of fairly tight statistical control on hatch rate. (e.g. Consistent hatch rates with the same incubator and same egg source.) I’m not a statistics person but I think the significance could then be quantified reliably.

Since then, @2ndTink dipped I believe 96 eggs. Hers contain both shipped and her own eggs. I've heard of two others that are also now doing this. My hope is that those who use this method will post their results. I could eventually then make a chart or something to add to the article.

Going to read that one now. I actually researched this a ton 20 years ago. I have two macaw parrots, one of whom I got back then.

I had tossed out all of the teflon and anything with non-stick coating and spent a few hundred on a new set. Had those ever since.

Fellow parrot (and finch) person here. Nonstick cookware is banned in my house if I have birds, which I usually do.
