Looking for geese by the Kansas City area

Hi everyone,

I am looking for either Sebastopol or Toulouse geese. Age and gender do not matter to me. We currently have one female Sebastopol and her mate and then replacement mate have both been killed in broad daylight by a fox while free ranging. I do not want her to be alone and she cries all day when she is without a companion. I really don't want to resort to shipping, but I will if needed. I realize it is off season for geese, but really hoping someone can help me. I'm located in the Kansas City area and am willing to drive a couple hours any direction to pick up. I would prefer a goose that is calm and is used to humans and other chickens/ducks.

Do you know about Dr. Julie Burge in Grandview Mo. ? She does geese and duck rescues. I have a duck and I have had her rescue some ducks dumped at a community College. She has contact information and she is a Avian vet.

I have not heard of her before, but I will see if I can find some contact info. We could use a good avian vet anyways.
