Tony is correct! The laying season is over. Mine are still laying but the eggs are not fertile, due to the fact that the males are molting. I wouldn't recommend getting any eggs at this time, it would be a waste of time and money. I've hatched out 30 goldens this season but as Tony said " too hot to ship right now".
Im only selling local at this time (pick up only) due to the heat factor. I should still have some this fall when the temperatures cool off, if your still interested. You'll be better off to find a breeder in your area, than to have them shipped, as well, that way you can actually see what your getting, and not having to wait until they arrive to see what you bought. Good Luck in your search.

I have hatched well over 200 reds, yellow, peach, silver goldens, cinnamon, and lady Amherst n still hatching n still getting eggs. As for eggs I wouldn't ship in this hot temps. N I would buy stock from which u get to see the stock. With technology we have like when I sell to a person I send them a picture of the parent stock, where the birds came from, when the bird was hatched, and pictures of the birds they are receiving and this method is good to follow. I have prolly over a 1000 birds now.

I would buy young birds instead of eggs.It will be much cheaper in the long run and you get what you want.
Dale Fisher in Killeen,Tx,Gordon Mattheny in Abilene,Tx,Al Novasad in Chappell Hill Tx,.That's all that list goldens. If you need contacts let me know and I will pm them to you.

I agree with the above. Eggs are kind of deceptive when it comes to pheasants. People buy them because they're initially cheaper sometimes than buying chicks. In the long run though they're often not worth it. Out of the 12 eggs you might have paid 60 bucks for you might only get 4 chicks. Those chicks then have to run the gauntlet to adulthood and you might only end up with two. The investment vs. return on them wouldn't be good since you could have bought a pair for that price and saved the trouble.

Do you usually sell hatching eggs? If so what breed of pheasants?

No, I don't but I have been known to give some eggs to a fellow BYC'er who wanted to hatch some different species after buying several pair of my birds. I prefer to hatch and then sell the juvenile birds in the fall.
I operate on quality, not quantity!
