Looking for good books to read

I've just finished three books in the past month and I'm just starting a new one but my reading list is pretty small. Looking for something new to sink my teeth into. I've read a LOT of books and I tried joining the local book club but all the copies are always checked out

Can you give us a hint of your age? I read a ton but am a teenager so we might not like the same stuff

I enjoy reading fiction mostly. Not really into scifi...more fantasy. I also enjoy murder mystery. Books about Human connection. All sorts of things really. Some of my favorite authors are Dumas, Vonnegut and palahniuk. As for my age we're not allowed to really post it but I read mostly adult novels although I do enjoy young adult novels. I recently got done reading Flowers for Algernon.

I do love animal stories. I liked the red wall books growing up. And animal farm is a classic

Animal farm is Fiction but you might like Farm City by Novella Carpenter, Non-Fiction. And Animal, Vegetable Miracle is one of Barbara Kingsolver's best. I'll read anything by BK.
