I bought some Jersey Giants last year and am very dissapointed in their size. One of my Barred rock roos is larger than one of the Jersey roos! The hens are small as well unfortunately.
I am looking to see if anyone is breeding a good sized jersey giant in Canada, or knows where I can find some. Any colour. I prefer eggs to hatch myself, but want some chicks or young adults as well. I had these birds when I was a little girl and miss them soo much.
Any help is appreciated.
If anyone is wondering the jerseys I got that are pathetic in size are from Performance Poultry. That being said they produce wonderful khaki campbell ducks, and Partridge Plymouth Rocks.
