2. Behavior- Balance issues when walking or roosting. Vet has ruled out bone issues or being egg bound
3. Length of signs- 3 months
4. No other birds are showing signs. 9 other hens, all the same age, around 34 weeks
5. No signs of trauma or injury.
6. She has been eating and drinking normally
7. Poop looks normal
8. Treatment- electrolyte and vitamin supplement in water.
9. Intent of treatment- Already took her to an avian specialist, going forth anything that will help
10. Housing- currently she is in a stock tank with pine shavings as bedding

Like many on here I am new to raising chickens and have used this site multiple times to answer my questions. However, I am hoping to get some help with a more specific problem. About three months ago I noticed one of my hens sitting down in the run. As she was the same age of the other nine hens I figured she was starting to lay for the first time like they were. About a month later I noticed she was staying in the corner of the coop most of the day and showed balance issues. My girlfriend and I immediately isolated her and researched the signs. She was always the smallest hen and had never laid. We took her to the vet (an avian specialist) and after a full work up he had no answers. I asked about Mareks and he said that she did she did resemble any of the cases of Mareks he had seen before but obviously it is nearly impossible to diagnose in a living bird. With not much more info than we had before we took her home and have kept her in isolation. It has been 2 months since and she is now around 33 weeks old and yet to lay. She has had a healthy appetite and has drank. We have been giving her a vitamin and electrolyte supplement in her water. She has shown no other signs aside from balance issues (only when walking). In the beginning she appeared to be weak but in the past few days she has flown out of the tank we’ve been keeping her in. She hasn’t ever exhibited any paralysis. Does anyone have any thoughts on integrating her back with the flock or any ideas as to what this could be? I still am assuming Mareks but after three months and no deterioration I am having certain doubts. Thank you all so much and I truly appreciate any help!
