Looking for Hookbill duck hatching eggs

After hatch and one week later❤️
I also have purchased several dozen eggs from Brian, and travelled out to his place recently to purchase two adult pairs, he has very nice ducks and many are from Holderreads stock! If your duckling with the eye stripe is from Brian it’s probably a trout or a chocolate mallard 😁 I hatched several either chocolate mallards or trouts from him, and it looks like I got some of both! And one of the pairs I bought from him has been producing a lot of trout as well, as one of the females I bought from him is trout colored.

He has very very nice stock!

Indeed, the trout and chocolate ones are from Brian, but not directly. The person who sent me the eggs purchased the ducklings or eggs from him.

Please post some pics… they should be big now… I have hard time taking photos of mines..
gahhh so sorry, BYC stopped emailing me about follow up replies and I hadn't been on the site to check notifications! these pics are a couple of days old, I can take new ones once the bedding is changed today. I'm fairly sure one of mine is a drake but the rest are looking a lot like their moms to me.

They are so cute! Mine are on their house outside since the last week already. They are exploring around the run. I will remove the heating plates as they are not using them. I have the mural plates on just in case.

I noticed after my last year hatch that when the eggs come from mixed breeds, the ducklings are taking more from the mother. I had 2 Swedish hens along with my Welsh Harlequin hens and drake, and the ducklings from the Swedish look alike their mothers. I will keep only the ones that are showing the DHB features this time. They need few more weeks to really see the difference. Some of them have the bill and head already of the Hookbills but others, look like the WH ducklings. I can tell by their color bill which one are boys.
