And of course my 5 year old Grandson Shawn had to come over and check out the new chicks, pullets & roo. He just loved the red one as you can see.

3 barred rocks, 1 production or rhode island red which all look like poullets to me. The other with the huge comb and waddles I'm pretty sure is a roo but don't know the breed. I'm sure someone will though.

Thanks Everyone for the input.. Its funny, I went to the auction, just to watch.. And I just couldn't resist them. No one else was bidding on them.. So I bid $1.00 (the bid is x how many are in the lot).. But hey 5 bucks for 5 pullets (or 4 pullets & 1 roo) NOT BAD !!!!

Not much help, but here is the birds my son took to the fair. An older man came over and commented on how nice his dominickers were. Told him they where cross bred because they layed green eggs. He thought the rooster was a little bigger than the ones he had and there was some blue tinted feather on their backs.

Yup, could be an Ancona. I've had 3 hatchery Anconas. All 3 had large combs, and one had a comb even bigger than our roo's. A friend of ours insisted it had to be a roo, but boys don't lay huge white eggs!

The tail was down because my grandson was chasing it. I think it was trying to hide into itself. I told him to leave it alone it, so instead he caught the red one, which was a little more relaxed. Now the red one is his favorite.

Chubs, your dominickers are adorable.

Keesmom.. I can't wait till it gets older so I can see if my "Roo" lays eggs..
I thought it was a roo because of the larger comb.. I didn't realize some femailes have larger combs too.. Now I've learned another something new..
