I have this incubator...had really good success to be a newbie! Easy to use...just a little tight at hatch day when they all start running around.

Yeah I usually have amazing success!! These past hatches have been awful tho. I am trying to troubleshoot what might be happening. The only difference is we have a wood stove in the living room that might be sucking the humidity out, even tho the hydrometer is reading plenty high. And I don't open after lock down, and still only 4 hatched I had 2 die in shell after lockdown (they were both shrink wrapped) and 2 that survived only did because I assisted. They were also horribly shrink wrapped. I gotta figure this out . (Sorry for crashing the thread, I am just so defeated)

Yeah I bet that wood stove has a big part to play...they change the air so much!

I just moved it to my bedroom and have it dry running with two hydrometers inside to see if it is more accurate. I have some eggs I want to set by tomorrow, so hopefully I can figure it out. I love this little incubator and have tons of luck with it.

I luv mine as well! I've got 2 (after my predicament with a staggered hatch in ONE!) Duh! Oh me! What ever shall I do with TWO now!?!

Would anyone know how to change the hatch day from day 21 to day 19 for Serama eggs. I cant find any info on it even in the instruction guide.

Let it run a few days before setting the eggs?
