looking for internal anatomy chart - think chicken is egg bound

i think my girl is egg bound. she's layed some huge eggs in the past month and now is bleeding from her bottom and hasn't layed in days, though she gets in the nest like she wants too. i was reading another post on here about the situation, so i took the advice and put some gloves on and lubed up with KY. I could only find the rectum though. I couldn't find the oviduct. I was looking for a chart online of the internal anatomy but couldn't find one. I would appreciate any help, verbally or a link online, about where to "search." Also, instructions on how to massage would be great too. She really doesn't want me to hold or touch her right now, so she must be uncomfortable. I hope the egg hasn't broken.

Have you tried to goggle "chicken anatomy"? When I did I got lots of hits. Good Luck!! I hope your situation ends better than mine.

So it looks to me like the oviduct is up where as the poop is coming from farther down. If that is the case, I'm still not sure where I should massage. I hope it ends well too. She has good days and bad days.

On a side note, we wormed her a month ago and she still has worms. I'm doing it again tomorrow, but it seems strange it didn't wipe them out. The vet confirmed that was the only problem they could find with her fecal exam.

yes you must be careful when massaging... you could inadvertantly push it UP or beak the egg ... read here for more info on reproductive disorders:
