Looking for Missourians

I'm from Frankllin County currently 3 city blocks or so from the Missouri River. I have Easter Eggers, White Leghorns, Barred Plymouth Rock, Rhode Island Red, and Production Red. My two oldest girls want some Silkies and Polish and my oldest son (11) is starting to raise quail. It's a busy back yard farm at the moment but a blast at the same time. GaryH and Labmum2, I'm not too far from South St. Louis.

We have one RIR, 2 white brahmas,4 buff orpingtons, 4 Jubilee Orpingtons, a few Ameraucanas, and a small bus load of French Black Copper Marans. The wife is going to concentrate on building a nice flock of Jubilee Orpingtons and the French Copper Marans right now. This is mostly her project but I'm trying to be supportive and help her where I can. So far, the Orpingtons seem to be our favorites.

If anyone needs pullets just let me know. I carry Rhode Island reds, white Leghorns, Andalusians, and buff Minorca's. Spring hatched chickens. March 24, 2013. These pullets will give you years of great service. $10 each.

I'm in Winchester, we currently have 3 Salmon Fav chicks, 1 BR chick, 2 EE chicks, 1 Columbian Wyondatte (all pullets) and 2 CCL chicks (1 pullet and one roo). Had a bad hatch, so now looking for Lav. Am., BLRW, FBCM, and BBS Orp again, since we would like these as well.

Hi everyone! St. Louis here, with a small backyard flock. First time chicken owner and raised up some peepers this spring and my first eggs started coming in last week! Have BR, EE, Welsummer, and Cuckoo Marans! Loving it!

Hi Gary and Labmum! How is your summer! Do you know of a good source where we can get some quality French Marans that lay the truly dark chocolate brown eggs? We got a cuckoo Marans this spring as a chick and brought her up but found out she lays pretty average brown eggs. Looking for dark layers. Any advice would be welcome or if you know of a source, we'd be very grateful! Thanks!
