Looking for Non Poisonous Vines for over Chicken Run

I use honeysuckle over some of my runs to give them shade in the summer and it grows so fast it will give you results quicker than some of the other options.

this is our coop. We r adding a 20x10 run to the back side. Thanks for all the tips...we r working on a hardscape for the top for the Connecticut winters.... I wil investigate honeysuckle for the corners and maybe beans and sunflowers....thanx all!

I don't know if Silver Lace Vine is poisonous, but it is very invasive. I agree that it is lovely, but it will spread everywhere through underground runners. Took us forever to get rid of it - at least it grows that way in NC.

Can they go under the coop for shade? What about creeping charlie? I don't know if that is the real name but, it grows like crazy and has pretty leaves.
