I had one hatch on day 19 but if is not doing well. Today is day 21, and nothing is happening. I had a power failure on day 16 or 17 while I was at work of unknown duration. Hopefully that just slowed things down and didn't do any harm.

Oh no. I was worried about power failures because of all the storms this time of year. We had one brief one but fortunately not long at all.

My chick that needed the assisted hatch is still a little weak. She stumbles a lot and is very shy. They pick on her a lot but she seems to be getting aggressive because of it. Hope this doen't make her mean. She's so tiny and cute.

I just stumbled on this. My broody hen has been sitting on hers since around June 19. I noticed today that she has cracked one of the eggs but did not break the membrane. She is incubating 2 Americaunas and not sure of the other six. Congratulations on hatching your 12. This is my first time hatching.

Looks like my incubator hatch is a total bust. The one that hatched early died.

On the bright side, a couple of my broodies are hatching a couple a day! Those are Swedish flower hens.

I just checked on mine and the one that was cracked has hatched and died.

Thank you. I'm so sorry to heard about the chicks that died. Our first attempt at hatching all died and it was sad.

All the chicks are growing so fast. I can't believe they have wing feathers already. Some had them at 1 day old. They are now 2 and 3 days old. Little Fizzle is still behind and I noticed they don't let her in to eat. She gets a special meal out of the brooder.

Super cute... love that spot on the head! I have never seen a Serama with a marking like that!

I use the little quail waterers for Seramas then I don't have to worry about them, but it looks like your marbles are doing the same thing.
