Looking for pullets in Central Texas

We have finally finished building our coop and are looking for pullets/hens to start our flock. We'd like to get an assortment of Ameraucanas, Buff Orpingtons, Wyandottes, and Olive Eggers. Where should we be looking?

If you want chicks and are near Ideal in Cameron TX, you can order and pickup from them. Their Ameraucanas are actually EEs, though, and they don't have Olive Eggers. For real Ameraucanas and good Olive Eggers you will likely need to find a breeder. You can look on Craigslist and if you are on Facebook there are usually local Poultry/Farm/Livestock groups where people sell animals.

I got my chicks from Ideal, and couldn't be more pleased with their vigor and customer service. Less than 12 hours in transit via USPS, well-packed, no losses or health issues period. All 25 got to 8 weeks, feathered out and thriving. I've sold all but the 10 I am keeping, and more than paid for the shipment three times over.

I hope your flock is just as healthy and productive, and brings you as much pleasure as mine has me. I can't wait to see pics!
