I'd like to add some salmon faverolles to our flock next year, or maybe this year depending on what's available. Can anyone recommend a breeder in northeastern MA or southern NH? We travel to central Maine a lot too so that's also a possibility.

If there aren't any breeders in this area then I'd take suggestions on where to acquire eggs. I have a couple of Asil hens that would be more than willing to have some eggs to hatch.

I'll try to get in touch with him. Thank you!

That's Dutch (real original name I know). He's a Windrift boy. He was my first baby. Hard to believe he's almost 11. Right now he's counting down the hours until winter returns, poor guy!

Does anyone know if the Faverolle Fanciers of America is still an active group? I haven't heard back from the contact person yet.

I posted a new message under Breeds asking the same question. Maybe someone who knows will notice it there.

Alot of them are showing birds right now and give them some time to respond. Particularly with Dick Boulanger who responds to all emails.

I used to be a member of the FFA and didnt like the politics and favorism going on in there and I left and didnt renew my membership the following year. Disappointing I am sure!

Dick and Rose Isgrigg are great folks to deal with....so is Nikki of HatTrick Silkies.
