We are set up to receive and care for 2 to 4 Sebastopol goslings. We have an avian vet lined up. We have housing and food for them. What we don't have are the goslings! Does anyone know if there are any breeders here in Oregon or Washington? I have found a few sites that have goslings and ship, but honestly I would rather drive and pick up my babies here. Not picky about the color. I just love the temperament of the breed. I do not have the facilities to incubate eggs, nor am I interested in doing so. Any thoughts, or should I just have them shipped? I really don't trust the USPS. Just sayin...

I know of some people that breed white sebastopols in washington, one lady I work for and hers are sitting on eggs right now and she might have some avaible she lives in battleground, wa and the other lady I bought a pair from her last year and I keep in touch with her and she just had thier first gosling hatch a couple days ago and she will proably have some avaible here soon she lives in toledo washington. If you would like I can talk to them and see if they will have any avaible and how much they want for them and let you know, they both have a small flock (one is battleground has three white curly breasted adults, one in toledo has I think 10 white adults both curly breasted and smooth breasted) I also might have some but it depends on how well the parents do (they are due this week) I am wanting to raise them for about 2-3 months then sell they would be mixed colors (white, grey/blue, lavender)

I would be eternally grateful if you would do that! I am wanting a pair or 2. Probably just a pair to start out, but really want a male and female. Also, I am wanting to start with them as young as possible. I think 2 to 3 months old would be too old for what I am wanting. I would prefer 2 to 3 weeks. ANYTHING that you can do to put me in touch with someone here in the Northwest would be so wonderful!! Thank you!

Jean aka Pips&Peeps here on BYC would be by first choice for your direction. We have three girls from her from last year. You won't go wrong buying from her on quality and thought put behind her breeding stock.

I don't think she's selling goslings 2-3 weeks old, though. I think she's bringing Sebbie eggs to the Stevenson show, but the OP wants young goslings.

No luck on either ad. Still hoping! It is getting pretty late in the season though. I may have to wait till next year.
