New England.. the cold part.
I've been looking at the seed catalogs, and would just rather spend my money on real people. I'm interested in organic seeds for veggies I like, like carrots, sugar snap peas, tomatoes, Bell peppers, corn, lettuces, squashes, pumpkins, melons, and would also love some asparagus root things and strawberries. I live sort of between zone 3 and 4... THANKS!!!

I have been working on seed saving for a couple of years and plan on selling a few small lots of vegetable seeds this spring. I raise only open pollinated/heirloom varities in my "northern"zone 4 garden thus acclamating the stock to the cool summer climates. I have 85 to 100 pecent germination on all of my saved seeds this year. Prices will be similar to the store bought seeds and I have worked out the shipping method and prices. If you are interested please PM or e mail me and we can discuss the details. I will be selling:

Tomatoes
Red brandywine
Green zebra
Black Krim

Cucumbers
Muncher
Pointsett 76

Carrots
Nantes
Danver halflong

Lettice
Buttercrunch

Snap beans
Contender (bush)
Kentucky wonder (yellow pole)

Sweet corn
Golden Bantum
Country Gentilman

Garden Dill

Next season I will be including among others:

Winter Squash
Acorn type

Beets
Bullsblood
Chioggia

Cabbage
Copenhaugen Market

Peas
Little Marvel?

Sweet pepper
Sweet Banana and others

Table Radish
No dicision on varieties yet.

I have had nice fruit but very few viable seed from my watermelon. Tuff to grow them to maturity even the sugerbaby.

Where abouts in New England are you? We are in Southern NH and run a farm stand selling plants and seeds, so you could actually pick up your seeds in person. Check our web site out for pricing and availability. http://www.vnsseed.com
