Hello,
My last few local feed store chicks have had reproductive issues so I am hoping to look for someone with healthy genetics (I know it will always be a gamble, but hoping to start with a better background). They are just pets so I want to prioritize long life over egg production. I would prefer hens because I live in town so either a sex linked breed like barred rock or someone who can sex chicks. I just want a pair, as young as possible. Early fall would be ideal, but I figured I would start looking now since I know availability will depend on when someone is hatching.
