Looking for reputable breeders, in silkies and ayam cemani. Willing to ship is a plus , anyone know someone reputable to buy from, we had bad experiences already, jersey chickens, sent us a box of dead silkies , and then. Hatching eggs that took over a week to arrive , out of 20 hatching egga we had two early hatchery today (day 18) and of the 4 left in the bator no other pips as of today , fingers crossed we got our hearts set on these beautiful little birds .....any help would be so greatly appreciated

Sorry to here about your unfortunate experience. It sounds like you may have a rough shipping route perhaps. Where are you located? What color Silkies are you looking for?

Is Jersey Chickens a hatchery? I'm sure live chicks were sent despite being deceased on arrival.

I fail to comprehend WHY shipped eggs would have early hatcher's.. especially if your incubator temp is calibrated during the winter time if they were collected fresh daily by the seller. Out of those 20 eggs, how many developed? Sensing some lack on the sellers part here, though NOT lack of TRYING.

Please DON'T buy from ANY seller who is willing to ship across state lines and isn't also NPIP certified. It's illegal to do so according to USDA, without proper documentation!
