Hi - we believe one of our barred
400
rocks is a cockerel. It's five weeks old, though, so we're going to watch for a bit longer. But, if the chicken crows we want a good local home near San Diego, CA, lined up in advance so we can act quickly. This is a great bird and we'd hate to see him/her go. Please let me know if you're interested and would be willing to give this chicken a good home here in our area and we'll deliver in the event, free of charge. Name is "extra crispy" (no, we didn't plan to eat, just thought it would be a cute, ironic;) he/she is first chick in foreground. Great personality (our favorite). Sniffle:

Hey there :) we have a small farm in Riverside county, a bit north of Temecula. Ill have to double check, but I think we would have room for him here. (If he ends up being a roo).

He's a beauty... itd be a shame to have him let him go.

Hello! Temecula is much closer. This is a great bird. Very social, funny. Climbs right up on our laps to get hand-fed his
400
meal worms! We handle him everyday and he'll do pretty much anything for a worm! ;) Getting bigger everyday! We are pretty sure he's a he. We are going to take him down to our local tack and feed to confirm and can bring him out soon after, if ok with you. Thanks to you both! I cant tell you how much we've been worried about finding a good home for our favorite chicken. Here's another pic of him about to fly off my husband after a snack!

He looks adorable. :D I was telling my mom and she was like "He's a sexy little rooster! The girls will love him!" Haha!

We are very hands on with our hens too, they sit in my lap when were on our lounge chairs in the yard.

Yea that would be great, maybe we can meet off the highway to make it easier... since were kind of out in the boondocks lol. Keep me posted. :)

Hi. I am San Marcos and would love to give him a home. My girls need a man around anyway. lol. I am on five acres here and my girls free range during the day and are safely tucked away at night. I was planning on getting some of the barred girls as well so he will have lots of lovin' and no competition. Let me know if you need to place him.

Wow! San Marcos is just right behind our house (we are in La Costa area of Carlsbad!) and it sounds like you have space, and a loving home for our favorite, Extra Crispy! ;) I just left you Vmail! Please let me know when you might be able to take him (he's six weeks now) and friendly, full of personality (in a good way!) Thanks to all three of you for offering to take in this wonderful bird! Looking forward to hearing from you, San Marcos! Here's a

pic I just took:
