maybe some wyandotte bantams, they are cold hardy and lay an egg a day in its first year. I would also recommend Appenzeller Spitzhaubens however they are quite hard to find.

I have old English game bantams and some mixed with RIR. Yup, you read that right! I don’t control who mates who as long as no one is getting hurt. I love bantys as they are excellent protectors,providers,mothers and egg producers! Mine are very hardy birds in the cold and heat. Big,beautiful personalities!

O my, poor Derp. That's one curse of a name. Altho I'd like to have some Salmon Faverolles. Seems like all the breeders are out of chikkens at present.
