I was wondering if I should put my eggs in a carton with vintilation holes or just put them on the wire during lockdown? any suggestions would be helpful!

Using the egg cartons make clean up easier and many folks don't cut the bottoms out either. I simply lay mine on spongy mesh shelf liner on the wire.

I guess I'm going to try it with the carton this time...Unless anyone can think of a reason not too.

Also I'm going to try putting a sponge in to bump up the humidity this time...I drilled 13 very small holes in each egg holder in the carton, Should this be enough? Thanks!

My son is doing this technique and has studied it pretty well as an experiment vs what I do . He said yes 13 holes per egg hole . He is 14 and said he really studied it ; ) I never tried it But hes a Pretty smart cookie .. Good Luck
