Hello, I had hatched some free eggs for the hatching experience back in April. Well, we had no intention on keeping them, however we fell in love. I have been looking for a forever home and I found the perfect one close to our up north home. The owner is just lovely and loves all her animals! She puts her animals first and I feel I have found the best home for them.

This is the problem. I miss them! I don't mean I miss them like Aunt Barb that I see once a year. I miss them incredibly! I'm finding myself crying all day and feeling guilty for leaving them. I can't handle this. I want them home again, but I can't build anything! My back yard is FULL of raccoons! The Critter control people live at the end of my street and let all their caught coons, skunks, possum on my street! At any given night, I have a dozen coons in my yard! I need a structure built under my deck(There is about 15' under my deck) that is COMPLETELY predator proof and can handle Michigan weather. I need for me to be able to leave for a weekend knowing they are safe in their home.

Can someone please help me bring my babies back?

To be as predator proof as you're going to need it, you're probably going to want to use concrete for a floor and walls out of brick. That and hardwear cloth secured with screws and washers about every foot. In a hot zone like that, with everybody's problem critters running around in your area, you pretty much have to build Fort Knox for them.

I'm willing, bring it on! Just need a builder! Can you recommend anyone?
Ask around. there's bound to be a handyman or two around that could knock out a fortress of a coop in a few days who could squeeze you in between other projects. Just be sure to ask for references.

I am asking around, that is why I posted this thread. If I ask just any Joe Shmoe to build me a duck area with a landscape design it more than likely not be predator proof as they wouldn't know how destructive raccoons and other animals can be.

So I was hoping by posting here, that someone would know of someone in MI that does construction/landscaping with a little knowledge of predator proofing.

I hope I can find someone!!!
