Looking for states that are warm all year round! HELP!!!

Hawaii is the only state that is WARM all year (rather than warm for part of the year and very' HOT the rest of the time

)... and who can afford to live in Hawaii?

You will have to choose between baking-hot desert-dry summers and equatorially-steamy summers, which will bug you least? Most places with also throw in a few months of cool muddy weather in the winters.

Good luck,

Pat

I have never been to Texas ( and quite frankly heard some scary stories about it ) it's supposed to be a great place. It's also growing with business and people. It's such a large state that I'm sure somewhere you could find the climate that suits you best too. Warm all year will give you draw backs though. You have the chance of more wildfires, drought, loss of plant life, and usually you are putting yourself into the path of Mother Nature's descructive side with hurricanes and tornados. But, that aside, I know the seasonal depression you are talking about. It's tough living up North. I can't move though! Good luck in your adventures.

PS-My sister lives in Lower Oregon and it is beautiful there too, just really expensive.

I was born & raised in Miami, FL, recently escaped as far north as West Palm Beach. It's an improvement, but would still love to move somewhere further north, central or north FL, GA, AL, etc. It is bright & sunny much of the time, but over half the year is suffocating, steamy, sweltering, itchy-bug infested, high humid HEAT. We seldom have to worry about our gardens getting frozen but few things grow in the summer months, not that you'd even want to get out there & try anyway. Winter & spring are lovely but I hibernate through the summer & fall. There is also the very real threat of hurricanes each year that must be prepared for well in advance. It's getting horribly over-developed here and we could soon run out of water if it doesn't rain more over Lake Okeechobee and folks stop wasting what's left.

You're welcome to come but buy an existing home and be frugal with the water, please.

That's cute. Could always try WI....
We have 9 months of winter this year. Then the season of road construction will be apon us soon and that last for the remaining 3 months.
The mud and pot holes are always an added bonus. And don't forget about the bugs...Oh the joys of WI. Doesn't it just sound so appealing. I love it.
Would love to move to Mississippi, but right now am happy with what we have here...Some day I will live in Mississippi though. Fell in love with the state when down there a few years ago. The weather is/was wonderful and everyone I did meet was so nice. Hurricanes seem scarey, but then we have tornados and the likes up here. So I guess it would kind of be a wash in that department...
