I'm looking for either a woman I met a long time ago at a farmers market here in Naples FL who called herself the Chicken Whisperer or someone who has experience raising chickens in this area. I would love to find someone who knows how to raise chickens naturally and does not use GMO feed and chemicals. I am thinking about raising chickens, use to have them on a farm many years ago in northern Michigan. We grew their feed and never used chemicals of any type. I am being told there is no way to raise chickens without GMO food and chemicals; I know that is not true up North and would like to find someone with experience here in SWFL.

There are brands of chicken feed out there that are non-GMO. Right now I am trying an Organic Non-GMO feed from Manna Pro called Organic Layer Pellets. (it is actually crumbles) My chickens think they died and went to chicken feed heaven!!!! But there are others and you would need to stop by a feed store other than TSC and see what they are carrying.
