Looking for the right Chickens!

We are looking for chickens that are good layers, large eggs, free range, and do good in the Southern Oregon area. We are also looking for farms here that sells the hatchlings. Thank you for the input!

I don't know of any farms or hatcheries near you, but you might want to check out your state thread. All you have to do is type it in the search box (upper left hand corner) and it should come up. Hopefully those people will be able to help you out with that.
Some hardy and good egg laying chicken breeds that I know of, but not sure if they're suited to Oregon, are Barred Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, Black Australorps, and Buff Orpingtons. That's all that I can think of for now. If you haven't checked out the learning center already, please make sure you do, it has lots of great information!!
