Black blends in with the environment too. Green does, but black is the best. Though so does my galvanized. But I see what you mean about run shots.The black coated steel wire I used on my catio is attractive and and looks professional.I recommend it for anyone who frequently photographs their animals for sale in pens or cages
Unfortunately it popped up in my search results regularly in 2021 (when I wasn't looking for it) and now its harder to find (post Covid era)If I find a link I'll post itAs stated. The one I referenced is hot dip galvanized then black coated. 30 year lifespan and rated for under ground and salt contact. The problem is you have to buy bulk. The benefit is the wholesale price. When I built my runs/coops, I needed lots of wire so it worked. I could not find cheaper local or online at the time…
