First -

What size?
- Standard
-Bantam
- heavy breeds

Quality
-pet
-show

What colors???

And last, what do you want it for?

Pet
Meat
eggs
broodiness

And do you care if it flys?

I DO NOT WANT IT TO FLY hahah that would not be good . and i am looking to have it as a pet
size is not a big deal
i have my chickens for eating the eggs but i want to be able to get a male and female and have them try to hatch eggs by themselves

A pekin? Go for it, I love my female pet pekin. She's a loner, and is very friendly. A bit loud at times, but during the most part the females just male little squeaky noises. I'm not so sure about them in groups though.

The best ratio is 2 females to one drake.

Ive never had pekins. Some people say they are extremely sweet, where as ive heard that the drakes can be little devils.

Do you care about color?

So far youve knocked out :
Muscovies
and any ornamental fowl

But you still have :
runners
cayugas
swedes
magpies
rouens
anconas
saxonies
appleyards
pekins
Black east indies
calls
silkies

and a few others i cant remember

see i am new to the whole duck thing so by you mean fly say i have them in my back yard and they dont like me will they just take off and not come back ?
