Looking into satellite internet, any recommendations or advice?

I dislike Starlink for a number of reasons. Some is politics, some is insider knowledge of how they operate internally, and some is because of their impact on the night sky and the amount of garbage they've fired into orbit in general.

The service they provide is great, which is the sad part. So many people rely on it for connectivity. They've got a stranglehold on the market so deeply that they can do whatever they want with essentially no competition. Their consumers will either have to eat it or go without.

I understand folks who use it and are happy. Be happy as long as you can with it. Just remember there's a large stick hovering over that carrot, and you never know when it will whack you.
