Looking to buy pigeons in Central Wisconsin

Hello there,

I am new to the forum and am looking to raise/keep a couple of pigeons just for fun. I used to have a pair of homers and a pair of Birmingham Rollers but that was 14 years ago in California. I now live in Wisconsin and don't know where to start. I don't want to spend a ton of money so if anyone knows anything, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Heres a good place you can pick from a variety of pigeons for pretty cheap:

Apr 24: West Central Wis. Pigeon & Poultry Club Spring Swap. Wheaton Park & Fire Station, located about 7 miles west of Chippewa Falls on State Hwy 29. 6 a.m. Admission fee $2 per car. All sellers of poultry, including waterfowl, and farm raised game birds must show a copy of NPIP certification or a copy of a negative pullorum test. No blood testing will be done on site. ^^^thanks. I also got a guy here with some pigeons that I went to see already. Once I get the coop up, I'll get 2-4 birds from him.
