Hi BYC, I'm Teresa and I live in Southern California. I raised chickens for eggs as a kid and now that I'm married and have a kid of my own I think it's time to get back in the hobby. Just converted the bottom of my daughters wooden swingset to a coop and am researching which breeds we should get. I'm thinking Cochin Bantams.

If you want something go in the heat white leghorn are good and thy are one of the best laying chicken out there and they don't eat a ton either
