Antibiotics early in salpingitis may possibly help, but there is no guarantee. Amoxicillin or enrofloxacin are the ones I would recommend. Enrofloxacin 10% liquid is sold by Jedds.com, and dosage is 0.1 mg per kg (or every 2.2 pounds) given orally every 12 hours for 5 days.
